Heat the Streets

Showzam 2010 finale ended with 'Heat the Streets' in Blackpool this weekend and I managed to snap up this photo of Blackpool Tower at dusk. The sculptures were all lit at different times and varied in size, shape and flames! Out of all this is one of my favorites as the sculptures and the Tower really stand out from the dusk sky.

Queens of Magic

Lat night I was fortunate enough to go and photograph some of the performers of 'Queens of Magic' at the Horseshoe Bar at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. This is again part of the Showzam 2010 performances and this image shows off the great costumes worn.

Marawa

This shot of Marawa I think is the best from the few portraits so far taken at Showzam 2010. The bright colours really show here and add to the Carnival feel Marawa is apart of.

Marawa - Hula Hoop Sensation!

Marawa features in this years Showzam at Blackpool Winter Gardens. Today she gave us a sneak preview into her Hula Hooping skills at the Olympia.

Wax Work

This is the wax work that greets you on entering the Showzam 2010 Central. Lots of tricky lighting and music fill the Olympia and its hard not to notice this guy staring at you from the center of the room.
I have changed the colours of the image as I wanted it to fit in with the old style ring master feel the Showzam Central presents.

Miss Behave at Showzam 2010

This years Showzam is in full swing and today I got to take photos of Miss Behave, the sword swallowing hostess at the Olympia Winter Gardens - Blackpool.
