Break Time

Photograph of a Darts Board and old Illuminations.

These objects remind me of some kind of instillation art where you are viewing a slice of a situation. This was taken at the old Illumination Shed in Blackpool before it was pulled down. It had been there a long time and every where you looked there were signs of past workers or past events. This storage space had a half played darts board on the wall behind some old illuminations. I like the composition as it mainly points to the darts board but I like the way its just a slice of a bigger situation the most.

Let me know what you think of this photo.

Clock

Photograph of a Clock on a Chipped Paint Wall

While on my trip around the old illumination depo I found myself trying to document most things I came across. Maybe this is because I know its all going to be demolished and felt like these details needed to be preserved somehow. This clock caught my eye because most of things we came across didn't work but the clock was still ticking away.

Let me know what you think about this photo.

Illumination Depo Brew Room

Photograph of a room with lots of different pain splashes all over it

This is one of a series of images take in and around the old Illumination Depo in Blackpool. The brew room was a good place to start as its a cold place and they guys and girls need a good cuppa to get them going in the mornings.
