For Mothers Day this year my family took a trip up to the Lake District to see some relatives. It was a perfect day with beautiful weather and hints of spring all around.
Family time is always important to me and it isn't often we all get together so it was lovely. Even the drive home was accompanied by a stunning sunset!
The cottage where my aunt lives is called Wood View and is surrounded by hills and sheep. We were hoping to see the lambs but we were too early so maybe next time.
