Stanley Park

Stanley Park is one of my favourite places to visit, especially on a clear sunny day. The photo opportunities are endless.
I decided to take the new compact out and see whats its potential was and this is the result.
I have changed the colours from the sun to give it a crossed process, warmer atmosphere and love how this brings the focus of the sun out.
The foggy morning looked stunning shining through the trees and I am glad to see it picked up this as some compacts can produce flat images.

Let me know what you think!

  1. Nice. What time of the morning is it? What is that big ice cream cone to the left?

  3. Hey Guys,

The photo was taken at about 9am so not really early but as it has been bad weather the sun was only just coming out.
The ice cream cone is apart of the cafe which is behind me..I left it in as it is a really unusual object for the scene - something I find a lot of living in Blackpool.

Thanks Eda, I loved all the natural elements coming together with the twist of the ice cream cone. Adds a summer flavour to the image! :)
